Austrian wins horse jumping
PA Amsterdam Hugo Simon, of Austria, won the grand prix event at! the International horse! jumping show at Amster-1 dam. the first leg of the-recently-inaugurated World Cup for the sport. Simon, riding Gladstone, emerged the winner after a jump-off against four other qualifiers. The former world cham-| pion, David Broome (Britain)l was second, and a Dutch-; man, Franke Sldothaak.i third.
