England team fights back
NZPA Adelaide After a torrid introduction to 'its cricket tour of Australia. England fought back splendldiv .to have South Australia 281 for nine at stumps on the first dav of the match at Adelaide Ova) yesterday.
Following an Impressive 124 bv John Nash, who with lan McLean shared in a second-wicket stand of 102. South Australia at one point was 195 for two. But then, apart, from Peter Sleep, who hit a dashing 45, the later bats men folded and South Australia lost its next seven wickets for only 86 runs.
