Country award to young singer

PA Tauranga It was a case of second time lucky for a Napier country singer, Lynne Toner, aged 16, when she won the New Zealand Star Award in Tauranga on Sunday evening. Last year, she was runnerup for the award, which is run by the Tauranga Country Music Club. As part of her first prize she will go to the United States for 18 days in June, six days being spent at Nashville.
