Cheetah skins seized
Hong Kong airport police have seized a large shipment of cheetah skins believed to represent up to 10 per cent of the world’s cheetah population, a police spokesman has said. The animal is an endangered species. The 319 skins, valued at about $42,350, arrived from Switzerland and were seized on Thursday, the spokesman said. —Hong Kong.
