Burwood—On October 18, 1978. at Christchurch, dearly loved wife of the late Fenwick Andrew, loved mother and mother-in-law of Lois and Lindsay Johnson and loved nana of Miles, Penelope, Hamish and Justin. Messages to 56 North Parade, Richmond. Cut flowers only preferred. The Funeral service will be held in the Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, Linwood Avenue. BIRSS, John Francis —On October 18, 1978. at The Princess Margaret Hospital, dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Eileen and Jack Murray (Kildaire Terrace, Lincoln), and loved uncle of Jill and Stephen; aged 64 years. R.I.P. A graveside service will be held in the Ruru Lawn Cemetery, Soldiers’ portion, This Day (Friday), at 1.30 p.m.; J. Lamb and Son, Ltd.
BLACK, John (late of Tapanui, West Otago)—On October 19, 1978. at St George’s Hospital, beloved husband of the late Cecilia Black and much loved father of Iris (Mrs G. Whitefield. Dunedin), Gwen (Mrs Mitchell, Christchurch) and the late Mervyn, and much loved and respected grandfather and greatgrandfather of Ken. Ann, and Steven (Melbourne), Yvonne (Christchurch), Colin (Auckland), Annette (Wellington), Peter and Michael (Christchurch). Messages to 33 Urunga Avenue, Christchurch 5.
