Public Notices AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN NOTICE is hereby given that the Amuri County Council proposes at its meeting to be held on the third day of November 1978 to consider a motion to apply to the Local Authorities Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of $200,000 for the purpose of constructing a reticulated water supply system to serve part of the Rotherham and Pahau Ridings of the Amuri County. The security for the loan shall be a special rate of such amount each year upon the rateable value of all rateble property in the Amuri Plins Water Supply Area as may in that year provide sufficient revenue for the payment of the annual charges in respect of the loan plus 10 per cent thereof, which rate shall continue until the loan is paid off. At current values the special rate would amount to 0.361 cents in the dollar upon the capital value of all rateable property in the Amuri Plains Rural Water Supply area. It is not proposed to levy or collect the special rate as all loan charges will be met from the uniform charge made in respect of each unit of supply. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Amuri County Council so as to be received at its office at Culverden not later than 9 a.m. on the day of the said meeting.
