Wall Street last week
The Wall Street stock market closed slightly easier last week, after some sharp fluctuations, mostly in line with the fortunes of the U.S. dollar. The familiar fears of rising interest rates and inflation also played their part, as did selling every time the 900-level was approached. Closing prices on Friday of a selection of shares were:—
