Salyut crew
'NZPA-Reuter Moscow i An East German and a Soviet cosmonaut aboard the Soyuz-31 space ferry yesterday headed for a rendezvous with the crew of the orbiting Salyut-6 laboratory. It was the third mission to the station this year by a Soviet cosmonaut and a member of one of the Soviet Union’s East European allies. The Salyut mission com* mander, Vladimir Kovalnyonok, and Flight Engineer Alexander Invanchenkov, seem set to challenge the 96-day space endurance record set by its previous crew.
