Chase, then collision
A car and a marked police* vehicle collided during a chase through Christchurch inner streets late last evening. Nobody was hurt and only minor damage was caused. A young man will appear in the Magistrate’s Court todav charged with a driving offence. About four police vehicles; and two traffic cars were in-! volved in the chase before; the car was finally inter-! cepted. It is alleged that at! one stage the driver being pursued travelled the wrong! way on a one-way street. j
