National’s policies

Sir, — The assurances of the National Party Of 1974, and 1975, given through its spokesman, our present Prime Minister, that the party was going to set New Zealand to rights, have surely gone sadly awry. Besides making the South Island a shadow of its former self, through neglect of its trading requirements and the denuding of its population, the party has little enough to offer in the future. With the positive new approach to many long standing problems, the Labour Party is giving fresh optimism and hope to the future. — Yours, etc., B. BRADLEY. August 24, 1978.
