Parish choir tours South Is.
The parish choir of the All Saint’s Church, Palmerston North, is touring South Island parishes, with a repertoire of 40 works, covering four centuries of composing. The 34 members of the Anglican choir raised the $2*,00 for the tour by holding a cake drive, bagging sheep manure, and holding a concert of Gilbert and Sullivan hits. The choir is already natir ally known for its regular broadcasts oK services and bj.mns. The choir’s itinerary of recitals includes the Nativity Church. Blenheim, August 23. St Mary's and St Luke’s, Christchurch August 22; St Stephen s -Ashburton. August 21; and St Augustine’s, Wa mate. August 21.
