The contest was held before the Rothmans League match between Trans Tours United and Eastern Suburbs. McManus won the 8-11 years section from Mark Orschoot Rangers) while Hooper won the 112-15 years group from Brian Smith ’Rangiora). The competition has been held since 1971. i
