‘Kidnap’ unsolved
Christchurch detectives have reached no conclusion about the report alleging abduction of a young girl in Shirley on Wednesday.
Two girls, both aged nine, told the police that they had seen a younger girl being dragged screaming into a car, in Golf Links Road by a! middle-aged man.
No more reports had beemade, the police said, but the investigation was continuing.
