Youth badly hurt in crash
A youth was severely injured when a motor-cycle and a car collided near the intersection of Cashel Street and Linwood Avenue last evening. Christopher Rau, aged 19, of 20 Rosewarne Street, Spreydon, suffered injuries
to his head, chest, spine, arms and leg in the accident, w’hich occurred about 5.40 p.m. He was admitted to the intensive-care unit at Christchurch Hospital. His condition was not available last evening.
