Public Notices HURUNUI COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER CONSTITUTION OF LAND DRAINAGE DISTRICT PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that an Ordinary Meeting of the Council held on Monday, July 3. 1978, the Hurunui County Council resolved under Section 227 of the Counties Act, 1956, to declare the Hawarden and Hurunui Ridings of the County as land drainage districts for the purpose of the construction and maintenance therein of works for the drainage of land in the Hawarden and Hurunui Ridings. The District shall be constituted on September 1, 1978, and a plan of the District Is open for inspection at the Council’s Offices, Waikarl and Amberley. The resolution will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers. Amberley, on Monday, August 28, 1978, at 9.15 ajn. SUBMISSIONS OR OBJECTIONS The above applications maybe examined at the office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board corner Latimer Square and Worcester Street, Christchurch during office hours. Any body or person may at any time within 28 days of this notice lodge with the Board written submissions on any application or an objection to any application. Every objection shall be on the ground that the grant of an application would prejudice the objectors interests or the interests of the public generally and shall be made in writing setting out the grounds on which the objector relies. . Every objection shall be supported by a statutory declaration verifying the contents thereof. .
