Educational MAORI EDUCATION FOUNDATION I RANGIRIRI AND VVHIWHI MARTIN WINIATA MEMORIAL BURSARY THE Maori Education Foundation administers the above mentioned bursary which has an annual value of $3OOO. The Fellowship is open to both Maori and non-Maori graduates and has an annual value of $2OOO. The Fellowship shall be awarded for the general purposes of enabling postgraduate research or study. The Fellowship is open to persons who are eligible to register as candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy of any university in New Zealand as at December 10, 1978. It will, however, not normally be awarded to any person who has been eligible for such registration for more than two years. The Fellowship is tenable for up to three years. The tenure Is subject to annual review and depends upon the Fellow making satisfactory firogress. The closing date for applications is October 1. 1978. 7509 MAORI EDUCATION - FOUNDATION NEW ZEALAND LAW SOCIETY CENTENNIAL MAORI SCHOLARSHIP A SCHOLARSHIP Is available to a person of Maori descent to help enable him/her to undertake full-time study in an approved course for a law degree at a university in New Zealand. The scholarship will be tenable for such period as the Maori Education Foundation determines having regard for the requirements of the course of study. In special circumstances the scholarship may be extended for a further period. The New Zealand Law Society Centennial Maori Scholarship was established in 1969 to commemorate the centennial of the New Zealand Law Society.
