Buyer for Haast mill
PA Dunedin A farmer from Clinton, South Otago, Mr lan Roy, has bought the Haast sawmill of Carter Merchants, Ltd, for use in Otago. Mr Roy has bought the entire mill, and will soon have it moved to various places in Otago for storage. He says he has no immediate plans for its use, but will do a feasibility study of potential uses in Otago. Mr Roy would not disclose the purchase price.
