Vicar Hanover arrives
The American-bred stal-l lion, Vicar Hanover, the sire o' about 90 winners in his homeland and several from ■ his first small crop in Australia, has arrived at Rosewood Stud, Annat. Vicar Hanover has sired' four 2min performers in North America where he - won $266,323 in stakes and his successes included the, Little Brown Jug. Vicar Hanover was accompanied on the trip from Aus-1 Itralia by the stud’s yearling! ifillv by Overtric from Rose- ' I ford, the dam of the smari] ; Southland three-year-old of] I last season, Watbro. The] stud intends to race the filly j before putting her to the] stud. A brother to the filly | realised $ll,OOO at the 1978 national yearling sales.
