Brass music seminar

Two Christchurch people are among 18 musicians selected nationally to take, part in a seminar for players of brass instruments. | The seminar will be held, in Marton for a week, late this month. The two men are a trumpeter, Mark Hodgkinson, and a tuhist, Allan McFarlane. Both play with; the Christchurch Symphony', Orchestra. Mr McFarlane; also plays for the Canter-; bury Orchestra Trust, and; has played with the Skelle-i rup-Woolston Brass Band. The seminar, which is organised by the Music Feder-1 ation of New Zealand, isj funded with a grant from the Ministry of Recreation; and Sport.
