Farmers to meet
PA Invercargill Federated Farmers (Southland) will hold a mass meeting at Rugby Park. Invercargill, on August 17 to discuss, negotiations aimed a( improving the service from the freezing industry in the province. Among those who will address the meeting are Messrs A. F. Wright, Dominion president of Federated Farmers: Mr J. Falconer, Dominion chairman of the meat and
wool section: Mr G. Pullar. provincial president; Mr O. McStay, chairman of the provincial industrial relations committee. Mr McStay said that the meeting would give fanners the opportunity tofind out what had been; achieved in negotiations with; other interested parties in the; industry, and give them a I chance to air their views on what they think should be done. i
