More cans suspect
PA Wellington More cans of United States salmon from the batch which ■caused botulism may be suspect, the Director of Public Health (Dr M. Collins) has warned. He said the tins bore the code number K.F.7M. F. 7145, according to the United States Food and Drug Administration.
I "The brand name may differ from the first cans known to be suspect,” he said. “At the moment we i don’t know where this salmon was distributed.” No cans bearing this code (number, or the code number of the first offending cans — iR.F.76 F. 7145 — should be I used, Dr Collins said.
