Man killed by tree
An Oxford farmer died after he was crushed by a falling tree in a freak accident yesterday afternoon. He was
Cyril ' Thompson, aged about 53, married, of Oxford.
The accident occurred when Mr Thompson was felling a pine tree on his farm about 2.50 p.m., according to the police. A branch broke off the tree and struck him on the head.
Mr Thompson was working alone when the accident occurred, according to the police. He was found by a member of his family.
