Death in street
PA Wellington The police are investigating the death of a •niddle-aged man found in a pool of blood in central Wellington last evening. The man was found on the footpath near the busy comer of Kent Terrace and Pirie Street about 8.15 pjn. The area was cordoned
and police patrote were made of nearby streets and hotels. The man, who has not yet been identified, was dead when the ambulance arrived. The police said later that they were not treating the man’s death as auspicious.
