WOODWORK AND METALWORK TRADESMEN TRAINING FOR SECONDARY TEACHING A ONE-YEAR, full-time course of teacher training will be held at Auckland and Christchurch during 1979 to train qualified technical men to teach woodwork and metalwork in secondary schools, intermediate schools or manual training centres. Applicants should have a sound secondary education and at least a Trade Certificate. Qualifications in drafting are also acceptable. An allowance of $5064 plus Interim Special Allowance of 3j% and Cost of Living Allowance of $365 (plus marriage allowance if eligible), will be paid during the training year.
