Carried was a motior tabled by Blaketown dele gate, Mr R W. Nelson, tha the New Zealand union "b« urged to consider recom mending to the Intematona Rugby Board a formula tha would not deprive a retiree player of amateur status if on publishing his memories in book form, he channel! the proceeds into a trust foi the benefit of his family.”
