‘Stamp Week’ next week
“Stamp Wee!:” will begin in Christchurch next week.
i From July 31 to August 6, a New Zealand-wide campaign will be run to increase interest in stamp collecting. The week has been organised jointly by the Federation of Philatelic Societies and the Stamp Dealers Association, with help from the Post Office. In Christchurch, the Philatelic Foundation will
hold an exhibition at 27 Worcester Street from August 12 to 20. Every evening there will be talks, workshops, films, trading tables and information leaflets. Displays will be set up in shopping malls, bookshops and post offices. The dates for the campaign were chosen to coincide with the release of the annual Health Stamp issue on Wednesday, August 2.
