•p.m. before power was restored. The falling branch had not broken the lines and because of this linemen had difficulty tracing the .fault, said the deputy chief engineer of the board (Mr K. C. Lewis) last evening. It eventually was traced to a circuit-breaker near Teddington. The fault in the circuitbreaker could not be readily identified so a temporary by-pass was made, he said; ' .':.■ The area affected included Teddington, Allan? dale, and Governor’s Bay.
