Investigation into fire
Christchurch detectives are investigating the cause of a fire which damaged the social room of the Sumner Croquet Club. Wakefield Avenue about II p.m. on Friday. Two fire engines from Sumner and one from Woolston were at the fire. A house at 143 Maidstone Road, Ham. was partly damaged by fire yesterdav afternoon. Firemen from Sockburn, Harewood, and Christchurch Central attended.
