Tom and Barbara Good are still fighting for selfsufficiency in the urban wilds of Surbiton. They have now taken their battle a stage further. They are spinning and dyeing their own wool and weaving and making their own clothes. So far the art of tailoring has eluded them. But in spite of their efforts the going is becoming harder. Margo Leadbeatter is again played by Penelope Keith who received the 1976 British Academy of Film and Television Artists Award for the best light entertainment performance of the year in this role.
