Charles Cecil Rookes ,a prominent officer during the Maori Wars), from Sir George Grey (former Governor of N.Z.), William Fox, General von Tempsky and others. There are also a number of interesting collector books, one being “Life and Times of Sir George Grey.” This copy is personally inscribed to Colonel Rookes Irom Sir George Grey. In conjunction, we are to sell a fabulous collection of New Zealand. Australian and European oils and water colours, a large proportion of which have never before been offered by public auction.
