A conker poem
The next time you challenge a friend with vour sixer, or whatever number it is, say this rhyme before you make a swing at the other conker. It is supposed to bring you luck.
Hick, hack, first smack Conqueror of six. And remember that you can harden your conkers in a slow oven. First, make a hole with a skewer through each conker, and then bake in a slow over for several hours. Take the conkers out and thread each one with a pice of string, making a large knot at one end.
