League suspensions
Two premier rugby league for-< wards, Danny Millward and Dean j Taylor, were each suspended for; one match at last evening’s! meeting of the Canterbury board! of control. Millward will miss his club,; Papanui’s, match against Syden-; ham, its closest pursuer on the: provincial premiership points table, while Taylor will not be available for Hornby’s game with I: Kaiapoi. Both players were required to;; appear at a board judicial hear-1i ing after having incurred three i; terms in the “sin-bin” (tempor-j ary suspensions; during the sea-, son.
