Bonds (N.Z.) says accept 170c
The directors of Bonds (N.Z.) Ltd, will recommend that' shareholders accept the current offer by A. S. Paterson and Co, v Ltd, of i.7oe a. share. The directors will forward their detailed recommendation to shareholders on July 17, when the offer will be mailedA. S. Paterson obtained 49.9 per cent of Bonds (N.Z.) through a first-come, firstserved offer last year, and now offers for the rest of the capital of the Welling-ton-based clothing manufacturer.
The offer is conditional on acceptance being received in I respect of 90 per cent of the shares which A. S. Paterson does not already own, or such lesser number not less than 50.15 per cent of Bonds; (N.Z.). j No further dividends will be declared by the directors of Bonds (N.Z.) over and above the final dividend of 7c a share already recommended as the final dividend for the year to March 31, 1978.
