Museum employees’ pay
Sir, — The curators and preparators at the Canterbury Museum have my full sympathy and support in their efforts to improve salaries. My father received an M.B.E. for 31 years of dedication to the Canterbury Museum and the brilliant displays and taxidermy are a fitting tribute to his unique and world-class talent. A hopelessly inadequate salary eventually forced us both to resign. Unless the worth of such staff at this museum is acknowledged it will continue to lose valuable staff. — Yours, etc., J. T. JACOBS.
