Churchill Stakes
Noble Quillo, ridden by Lester Piggott, won the Churchill Stakes for three-year-olds, run over a mile and a half at Ascot on Saturday. Noble Quillo had four lengths to spare over King for a Day (Pat Eddery). Pragmatic (John Reid) was third of the nine runners, a further three-quarters of a length back. — London.
