$500 fine imposed
A Takaka man who had been found guilty of cultivating 37 cannabis plants on his property' last year, was fined $5OO in the Supreme Court at Nelson yesterday. James Chilton Francis Hayter, aged 60, a camping ground proprietor, appeared for sentence before Mr Justice Quilliam. He had pleaded not guilty.
