Deficit for Church
PA Wellington The Presbyterian Church expects to have a defici of between $50,000 and $lOO,OOO in its budget for the year ending June 30, said the church’s treasurer (Mt D. A. Larsen. Missionary and outreach work undertaken during the vear, would need $350,000 Pl dge revenue was expected to cover most of this, although there would still be a deficit. The Church’s budget for the 1978-79 year is $1.85M. 22 per cent up on the current year’s budget. A Church statement said there were indications that parishes would make extra efforts to fulfil contribution quotas where previously they might not have been met.
