Maoris to discuss treaty
[ PA Auckland j Maori land groups will hold a meeting to “discuss the ratification of the Treaty of Waitangi” in August at Waitangi. This was decided after Matakite Aotearoa, Mrs i Whi na Cooper’s group, met on the Rewarewa i Marae' near Ruatoki this ; week. i The meeting came after ; a disappointing week-end i for Maori land groups, ' when they failed to unite : into one organisation after i what was described as an j “edgy” meeting on the I Gordonton marae, near i Hamilton.
