Communique amiss
Communique, an early i . favourite for Avondale's $15,000 Winter Cup tomorrow week, 1 seems likely to miss the big race. A runaway winner of the Cornwall Handicap at Ellerslie in his last outing. Communique has lately been unwell and it is thought he has a virus infection. He is having veterinary attention and in a day or two will be sent to rest on the property of his owners. Mr and Mrs L. ,;W. Davis, at Manurewa.
