A total of 643,900 shares was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, including 32,800 special sales. The total was 240,300 more than on Thursday. Industrial shares totalled 624,700 (400,200 on Thursday), and 19,200 mining and oil shares were traded (3400 on Thursday). A total of 133 issues was traded. The five most active issues were:
