Won the Great Northern McGregor Grant steeplechase double with ease at Ellerslie earlier in month and previously won the Waikato Steeples. Came from well back to run second to Philanrak over 1600 m two starts back at Ellen-Ge enr continued form with decisive win over same distance at Waipa last Saturday. Will appreciate the extra distance tomorrow and should win again.
