Crockett back at Templeton
Crockett, a world doublegaited champion on half-mile tracks, will again be available to breeders in Canter* bury this spring. After a season at Nandina Stud, Pukekohe, he is back with Murray Butt at Templeton. He was with Butt two seasons ago when he covered more than 100 mares.
Crockett, the sire of both pacers and trotters from his earlier limited season ut the stud, has left such useful performers as Bronze Trail, the top two-year-old of his year in the north, Pavlova’s Pride. Babalu, Nandina Mystery, Del’s Boy, Mairo King. Camlar Double Rocket and others.
Sprocket t, a winner in New Zealand has been successful in North America, where he has taken a record of imin 58s.
King C rocket t has been a good winner at the trotting gait in Australia.
Among the mares booked to Crockett are Craven, the dam of two outstanding trotIters in Dupreez and Geffin, th. fine winner. All Alone. Pelota the dam of Delpc'o, land Countess Cord, a sister to Queen's Cord
