SOAP OPERAS Sir, — Three cheers for John Collins! At last someone, has the gumption to speak out against soap operas. I heartily en dorse every sentence an , would like to add a i\ w more. I tried watrv-g them once, and jomtwi myself staring out the window at nothing in order to get some kind of stimulation for my o.’i ’•». which was fast becoming like green slime. No wj.ider so many women aie neurotic. They pro’nahlv feel they are not alive unless they are half dead. They talk about the ’. ir i done to children who watch too much TV. W ut about the women I challenge the women of this city to unite, and help get rid of this sick disease that crawls out of the small screen in large daily doses. — Yours,, etc., CAY BURGESS.
