Boy still ill
The schoolboy who was pinned beneath a bus for more than 20 minutes on Monday is reported still seriously ill in the Christchurch Hospital. He is Michael Raymond Blade, aged 15, of 7 Penelope Place, Redwood, who was reported in an unchanged condition in the hospital’s inten-sive-care unit last evening.
He suffered severe multiple injuries in the accident, which occurred on the Mam North Road about 4 p.m. A jack had to be used to lift the bus off the injured boy.
