Repetition sprints for Oamaru prospect
Double Vision, probably Riccartoji's top winning prospect for Oamaru on Saturday after wins at her last three starts, did not dull her' image in any way in training at Riccarton yesterday. Between snow showers ■ she stepped lively in repeti- ' tion sprints from the 600 m on the No 7 grass, recording 39 in the first of them, and 39.8 in the second. ; She was ridden by her trainer, Rob McCann, who ■ will also partner her in the second leg of the Oamaru: T.A.B. double.

quickening for the last 600 in 42. Yum Seng acted well in the conditions to lead Koukla by three lengths finishing 1200 in 1.21.6. The Taggart-trained pair Cyllenius and Janlee recorded 1.23.6 for 1200. slowing in the straight after running the opening 600 in 40.4 Tractable and Quetzal Queen sprinted 600 in 42.6. Tractable is about to resume after a spell, but will not race at Oamaru if the track is heavy.
