Sir, — In regard to Mrs Johns’s claims (“The Press,” May 27) that excessive alcohol is consumed by Young
Farmers’ Club members, we hereby state that at and during our meetings no alcohol is consumed. At other Young Farmers’ Club activities organised by our club the use of alcohol is limited and is definitely not abused. —- Yours, etc., C. J. DRAPER. Chairman, Amuri Y.F.C. June 12, 1978.
