After more than a month of upward moving prices, the trade appears to be assessing the impact on demand. Retail sales of New Zealand lamb are continuing at the steady level of recent weeks in contrast to a dull home-killed meat trade. ' With the present price margin between New Zea- ; land lamb and home-killed meat, some wholesalers are looking for a further slight advance this week.
