The day in Parliament
Members gave notice of seven notices of motion when Parliament sat at 9 a.m. yesterday. Ministers answered 26 questions. A private member’s bill, the Labour Department Amendment Bill, was introduced by the Opposition spokesman on industrial relations (Mr A. J. Faulkner), and set down fpr a second reading. The House then continued the Address-in-Reply debate until the adjournment at 1 p.m. Lottery draw Golden Kiwi jackpot lottery No. 95 will be drawn on Monday. — (PA).
