Police chase car
Five young persons were apprehended when the car they were travelling in crashed after a police chase through Christchurch streets earlv yesterday morning. They allegedly took five cars and committed two burglaries during the night before being apprehended at 6.15 a.m. They will appear in the Children and Young Persons Court today.
Small grocery items were taken in the burg’aries, and several of the cars were damaged, said a police spokesman.
