Lodge open
The Lodge Hotel at Hanmer Springs is open and running at “full steam,” according to Mr J. McElroy, a director of Lorremac Holdings, Ltd, the company which bought the lease of the hotel on April 4.
“We have had a lot of people telephoning from Christchurch to ask if we are still open. They think that, because of legal wrangles over The Lodge and Harley Chambers, we have shut down until it is sorted out. “We make it clear that we are still open, and running at full steam,” Mr McElroy said.
